Downtown Hartford Market is established to promote locally grown food and local handmade artisan products. It is a place to promote community stewardship and a platform to invest in unique local small businesses and fundraising activities. We do not have vendor spots for direct sales, mlm, or information booths at this time, please inquire about our fundraising opportunities if this fits your situation.
Hours are 5:00-8:00 pm on May 28, June 25, July 30, August 27, and September 24. Located on Main Avenue from Second St to Menth St (South Bar.)
Setup begins at 3:00 PM (No earlier please)
The market is open rain or shine, and it is up to the vendor’s discretion to set up in inclement weather.
Selling spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; there is no reserving space for others. Typical stall space is 10’x10’. If you share a booth with another vendor, you must fit in one space.
Set up will be on the street, leaving sidewalk space for pedestrians, starting at Second St and filling in towards South Bar. **Food Trucks will be located at the end of Main Ave. closest to 2nd Street this year so leave room for them to park.
Thursday make sure you bring the kids downtown to enjoy time at the farmer's market. We'll have our scavenger hunt, crafts, and rock painting to keep the kids busy while you shop.
The Downtown Hartford Farmer’s Market Team would love to invite you to participate in the 2026 Downtown Market Sponsorship for our upcoming season. We value all businesses, big and small, for their many contributions to our vibrant community. While the Downtown Hartford Market is specifically intended to showcase the Hartford Areas hidden artisan talent and locally available foods, as a handmade and homegrown market, we wanted to provide an opportunity for our other business owners to bring exposure to their products, services, and locations. Your sponsorship will help us to advertise to a broader audience and provide family friendly activities & entertainment this year.
